Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Veterans Memorial Hall! We would love to talk with you about becoming a volunteer member of Veterans Memorial Hall staff. You would be giving Veterans Memorial Hall a valuable gift—your time and talents. We do not take this lightly, and we gratefully appreciate your involvement. Your work helps the staff function more smoothly. Your dedication and attention to detail also promote good will for Veterans Memorial Hall through your knowledge of its operations, and this can stimulate visitor interest and support. Thanks to your interest and involvement in our activities, we are able to provide opportunities that would not otherwise be possible. We are very proud of our current group of dedicated volunteers. We look forward to including you in this number.

Archive research assistant – Purpose: to perform online and site research; web searching and library research skills important; transportation may be necessary.
Registry assistant – Purpose: to accomplish registration of collection items. Skills necessary: use of PastPerfect or like databases, Microsoft Office products, cameras, scanners and other equipment.
Museum Greeter – Purpose: to greet spontaneous guests and give tours if necessary. Hours: Monday, Thursday or Friday from 9-5. Administrative or maintenance tasks to be done while waiting for guests. Must have pleasant welcoming attitude and ability to do light maintenance helpful (dust, sweep, windows, etc.)
Special Event Staff – serve as ticket taker, set up, or tear down, or general hospitality tasks.
Handy person – Assist in “building” or set up of displays and exhibits or assist with building maintenance
